President & CEO

Greg Bianco

Greg began his career in the food industry working his way through college on his cousin’s farm in California. He graduated from California State University, Bakersfield with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in communications. He believed that he needed more business knowledge so decided to pursue and soon after graduate from Western Governors University with a Master’s in Business Administration. He is very passionate about the food industry knowing that food is essential to the world. After working for his cousin’s farm, he continued his career working by selling and marketing commodities in the food industry. This is where he learned the value of relationships and partnerships with his customers ensuring that trust is the most important factor when it comes to business relationships. He believes in hand-shake type business relationships where his customer’s feel comfortable and confident in the service provided for them. He works diligently to see that his customers are provided the best customer service with a great quality product.


He believes that a quality product can secure repeat business while ensuring top-notch customer service through a strong work ethic will help solidify the business partnership for trust with his clients and customers. He has worked with many types of operations ranging from wholesale distributors, grocery retail companies, food service companies, restaurants, and export trading companies for products internationally. He understands complex supply chains issues and distribution to ensure his customers receive consistency in supply and quality product. In 2021, he had an opportunity to move to Phoenix, Arizona to begin working for Minervini’s Specialty Foods, Incorporated as the Director of Operations where he later took over the business with ownership working as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Vice-President of Operations

Brian Vera

Brian understands logistical warehouse and delivery processes to ensure customer satisfaction. He specializes in heavy equipment operation to see that all processes within the warehouse are operated appropriately with a safety-first model. Brian began his career as a delivery driver for Arizona Break & Clutch and Redburn Tires where he learned all routes throughout all of Arizona and throughout Maricopa County. After working as a delivery driver, he worked for Greco & Sons working in the shipping and receiving department managing inventory, order picking, and coordinating truck deliveries. Brian has four children and believes that family is most important.

Our Company History

Minervini’s Specialty Foods is founded with the principles of Francesco Minervini whom in 2002, had a dream to provide specialty imported food products to the Greater Phoenix area. In 2021, Greg Bianco, of Italian descent, purchased the business to expand operations and grow the business to the next level to continue the dream that Francesco Minervini dreamed for the business. Greg’s pursuit, success, and knowledge brought him to develop a passion for supplying the highest quality of food products available to local restaurants and retailers in the Greater Phoenix area.


He was raised on the value system of a strong work ethic and believes in the old-fashioned hand-shake type business model where his customers and suppliers are family and friends. He has an unwavering amount of commitment to his family and business. Today, Minervini’s Specialty Foods, Inc. has grown to supply a diverse range of restaurants and retailers in the Greater Phoenix, Arizona area.

Founder

Francesco (Frank) Minervini

Francesco (Frank) Minervini, born in Molefetta, Bari, Italy, on September 14, 1939, dedicated five decades to the food service industry. Celebrating 60 years of marriage with his wife, Maria, and cherishing their family, Frank embarked on his career as a supermarket owner in Venezuela, specializing in fresh meats and cheeses. Relocating to Chicago in 1971, Frank served as a Sales Manager before opening Minervini’s Specialty Foods in 1988. Choosing not to retire in 2001, he noticed a void in authentic Italian foods in Phoenix, Arizona. Since relocating in 2002, Frank has passionately laid the foundation for Minervini’s expansion, fostering collaborations with renowned Italian establishments across the Greater Phoenix area and leaving an indelible mark on the local culinary scene, now entrusting leadership to Greg for continued growth.
